Time Frame Suggestion

While I can’t control the weather, I can tell you that my absolute favorite time to shoot is during golden hour—the magical hour just before sunset or after sunrise. This is when the lighting is soft, warm, and flattering, which is why I highly recommend booking during this time. Just keep in mind the exact timing changes throughout the year.

That said, I understand that not everyone can make it during golden hour. If the weather isn’t ideal or if the timing doesn’t work for you, I’m happy to accommodate other options. Overcast days, for example, can actually be great for photos, as the clouds act like a natural soft box, creating more even tones and a beautiful, diffused light.

If morning and evening don’t work for you & midday is your best option, we can go for a more dramatic look with higher contrast light.

No matter what time of day you prefer, I’m here to help create beautiful memories for you. For the last five years I’ve spent time crafting my work & learning how to shoot at all times of day/different weather conditions to be prepared for whatever it is you are looking for.

Outfit Tips

First and foremost, dress comfortably! When you feel good, you’ll look good. If you're unsure about your outfit choice, I recommend bringing a backup just in case—it’s always better to have options!

If you're looking for outfit guidance, I generally recommend keeping things simple. Solid colors often work best, as they keep the focus on you. Earthy, creamy tones are always a safe bet—think soft neutrals that complement natural surroundings. It’s also a good idea to consider the location and time of day for your session, and how your outfit will blend with those colors. When everything flows in a similar tone, the images tend to feel more cohesive and pleasing to the eye.

That said, if you’re feeling bold and want to add a pop of color or go for something unique, I’m all for it! The most important thing is that you feel confident and in love with how you look in your photos. If you have any questions or want help narrowing down your choices, feel free to reach out for some guidance.
